This site-specific sound installation is buried in the ashes of the Trepat Cal foundry in Tárrega (Spain). 844 is the total number of people who worked at the Trepat agricultural machinery factory between 1915 and 2004. Each of them took part in building the machines that came out of the factory, and their names are inscribed, in one way or another, in the history of the factory and of the machinery made with their own hands. The installation names every one of these workers, giving life back to the people who once filled a space that stands empty today.
