When Walls Speak

A concert for a series of one-night events at Club Le Larraskito in Bilbao (Spain) in 2010, alongside other artists such as Jean-Luc Guionnet, Seijiro Murayama, Jorge Nuñez, Loty Negarti and Ibon RG. My concert was built from recordings I had made earlier in the venue, while the main room was empty. The aim was to record the sounds that remain in a concert space without people, in search of a kind of quiet memory of the place, as a hauntological sonic action. The venue has a second, smaller room, where I played a selection of recordings of the concerts held there over the years. The two resulting recordings were heard together, and I suggest playing them the same way: together. The present haunted by the past.
